It was altogether beautiful,
the way He put her insecurities to sleep;
the way He dove into her eyes and starved all the fears;
the way He released all the dreams she had kept coiled beneath her bones.

Let people love you, just the way you are.
As flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you may feel,
as unaccomplished as you think you are.

Growth and change are painful,
but we'll get through this journey together.
It hurts more to stay stuck somewhere you don't belong,
walking a path you've so spuriously created.

Feel the fear - though uncomfortable, entirely natural.
Be not submerged, as you are more than your somatic complaints.
Acquire freedom by unearthing your own authentic needs, beliefs, and desires,
for the world will imprison you if you allow it.

Know that despite how loving, harmonious and raw you become,
people can only meet you as deeply as they've met themselves.
Cultivate compassion for all who propose harm,
most importantly: learn to start living.
