After a while, one learns a difference
between holding a hand and chaining a soul.
Love doesn't mean leaning,
that company doesn't mean security.
Kisses aren't contracts,
and presents aren't promises.
With a head held high, with eyes wide open,
with the grace of an adult,
learning to build all paths based on today,
because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain.
After a while, you learn that even sunshine can burn.
Don't wait for someone to bring you flowers,
plant your own garden - decorate your own soul.
Learning that you really are strong,
that you really are of worth.

Beauty Trumps All
Allow the time to be nourished with the beauty of this world.
Watch the sun rise, gaze at the ripples in the water, listen to bird songs,
feel the breath of the breeze, see glory in the colours of the sunset,
and feel the magic of the moon.
The world is full of splendor, it is remarkable.
It is remarkable that we may live within it's beauty.
Yes, there are hurts, devastations, and disasters - but beauty trumps all.

Let Love Live
If you love a flower, don't pick it up.
For if you do, the flower dies and ceases to be what you love.
If you love a flower, let it be.
For love is not about possession, love is an appreciation.
For if you do, the flower dies and ceases to be what you love.
If you love a flower, let it be.
For love is not about possession, love is an appreciation.

Authenticity
Let yourself be loved, just as you are -
as flawed, as unattractive, and as unaccomplished
or as unworthy as you think you may be.
For the belief that you must hide what is broken
out of fear that another is incapable of loving what is less than perfect,
is to believe that sunlight cannot enter a broken window,
to illuminate a dark room.
as flawed, as unattractive, and as unaccomplished
or as unworthy as you think you may be.
For the belief that you must hide what is broken
out of fear that another is incapable of loving what is less than perfect,
is to believe that sunlight cannot enter a broken window,
to illuminate a dark room.

Fervency
Love me a little.
I love you more than my own skin,
even though you may not love me in the same way,
you love me nonetheless, don't you?
Though if you don't, I'll always have the hope that you do,
and I'm satisfied with that.
I adore you.
I love you more than my own skin,
even though you may not love me in the same way,
you love me nonetheless, don't you?
Though if you don't, I'll always have the hope that you do,
and I'm satisfied with that.
I adore you.

Measure Of Love
For the measure of love,
is to love without measure.
You can give without loving,
but not love without giving.
The greatest thing she can ever learn,
is to love, and be loved in return.
is to love without measure.
You can give without loving,
but not love without giving.
The greatest thing she can ever learn,
is to love, and be loved in return.

Amiable Affiance
I promise to plant kisses like seeds, on your body,
so that in time you can grow to love yourself,
to love yourself, as I love you.
so that in time you can grow to love yourself,
to love yourself, as I love you.
